Can you share with us what happened? I got up in the middle of the night to go to the washroom, and when I went back to the hospital bed to lay down, I, uh I had severe chest pains, and so I rang the nurse button, uh, right away, and the nurses came in and, um, I don't remember exactly, but they were very concerned and gave me some more medication, um, did some more tests, and my enzyme levels were actually at 1100 and something at that time. And, and the nurse said something to you which is pretty important. Yeah, the nurse told me that most men in their 30s don't survive, um, that. And that the, the doctors were pretty hesitant to say that it was a heart attack at first, but all the nurses told me that those levels indicate that you've had a heart attack. And, um, I was rushed to the Ottawa Heart Institute because they didn't know what was going on with me.

And then I spent 7 days at the Heart Institute because that, that's the Ottawa Heart Institute.

Um, and they also didn't really know what was going on. Um, my heart rate wouldn't settle down, it was just fluctuating all the time. And I wasn't, I wasn't allowed to leave my hospital bed for 7 days. Um, I could only get up and go to the washroom and that was it. I wasn't allowed to shower or walk around. So just so I'm clear, you're 23 years old.

You're at the Ottawa Heart Institute, which you're not expecting to be at, and they're even telling you don't, don't leave the bed. Like, yeah, they want you to go to the bathroom in a bedpan and everything. Yeah.

And because of COVID restrictions, the whole time I was by myself in both hospitals. I couldn't have any visitors. Um, it wasn't till I think 5 days I was allowed to ask the people at the desk in the hospital if I could have somebody come and visit me. Um, and my parents came to see me, obviously. What, what, um, what's going on in your mind, like, like in your emotions? I wasn't really sure what to think. Um, I, I didn't really know if I was going to live. Um, and, and for, for quite a few years afterwards, I, I didn't know. I didn't think I was going to live to be 26, to be 100% honest with you. And it's still in the back of my mind, um, almost every day that it may happen again, because they told me that it may happen again.

They don't know what caused it because they didn't want to say that it was vaccine-related. And then, um, it was— I was off work for 2 months, and then I was only working part-time for 3 months after that. And I couldn't, um, I couldn't get my heart rate up or do physical activity for 6 months after I was released from hospital. And that was a good question because like, I'm at an age where, like, pre-COVID, I've never heard before of a 23-year-old having multiple heart attacks where the nurses are surprised the person lived and where they're in Ottawa Health Institute or any other health institute for 7 days where they're being told to, like, not even at age 23, And you're telling us, well, they don't want to say it's vaccine injury.

Did they tell you what it was? Uh, they never— a couple nurses told me that it was probably caused by the vaccine, but none of the doctors ever confirmed that. And, um, after I was released from the hospital, I was— but let me just stop you there. I mean, you've had a heart attack and they haven't told you why. Yeah, you had two heart attacks, you're lucky to be alive, and nobody's telling you why. Like, I'm having trouble, this isn't computing. Yeah, um, it didn't really compute with me either, to be honest with you. So, um, sorry, you're back at school, you're trying to get her back at work because you're— yeah, apprenticing. And, uh, it Probably 4 months after I had been released from the hospital, I was driving home from work one day, and every time I took a breath, I would have a pain in my chest. And I actually started to collapse behind the wheel.

And so I started to make my way to the Kemphill Hospital because that's the closest one, uh, to me at the time. And by the time I got to the 416 exit to Kemphill um, the pain went away. So I'm being young and dumb, I just decided to go back home. And then I was told that that was not a very smart decision. Um, and then everything seemed fine, um, up until this year actually. Um, but it was Friday, July 10th, I think. Yeah, yeah, July 10th. Um, I woke up and it was the same kind of scenario. I had some chest pains and I said— I went to stretch and I collapsed on the kitchen island and I told my mom, I think you should take me to the hospital.
