So I went to the emergency room. So, so we've heard A few people mentioned this, so I just want to mention how scary it must have been to wake up in that situation. So you just get up in the morning and half of your face is paralyzed. So could you tell us more about how you felt in that moment? Well, that's right, I panicked. I called my sister and she panicked, and she thought that I was having a stroke because it is one of the symptoms. So the entire family started panicking. So I went to the emergency room. I waited a long time. I had to go alone because we were not allowed to have people with us. My appointment with the emergency doctor lasted not even 10 minutes. I entered the clinic and she sat me down.

She made me close my eyes and she saw that I had Bell's palsy. And she sat down, and I wanted to tell her that I had been vaccinated. And, uh, I had my back to her because she was behind me, and I wanted to tell her that I had a vaccine. And she said, I don't need to see a vaccine certificate in any way, it's not due to that. And I was already in a state that I did not understand. I did not know what Bell's palsy was. I'd never heard of that condition before. She gave me a prescription for some medication. She gave me a prescription for an ear, nose, and throat doctor. And, uh, for Bell's palsy, she told me about Jean Chrétien, who had a wonderful life despite his Bell's palsy. I asked her for a medical note for my workplace, and she said she wouldn't give me one. Because I didn't need it, because maybe I'd stayed that way all my life.

So from what I understand, so she mentioned Jean Chrétien, and she said that you could have a wonderful life just like Jean Chrétien. Yeah, and then she left, and she left me in her office, and I did not understand anything. I left the office in tears. I was in tears and crying profusely on the sidewalk. I did not understand what was happening to me. I did not understand what had just happened at the appointment. And when I got home, I did some research to see what Bell's palsy is. And in the criteria that I saw, Bell's palsy usually occurs within 8 weeks. So I did not know why she said that I would have Bell's palsy my whole life. She could have told me that within 8 weeks my Bell's palsy might disappear, but that's not what happened. So one week later, I went to the ears and throat doctor and she sent me for extra, uh, extra tests like an MRI and an electromyogram.

And I asked her if there was a link to the vaccination and she said that it was unrelated and that all influenza vaccines could cause Bell's palsy. But in my case, that's not what happened. And I asked about my second dose because I already had an appointment set for that. And she said that she recommended it because I was better off in my state than if I had caught COVID. And she told me to get a Pfizer dose because it would be— she said Pfizer would be a safer second dose. In the end, I did not get my second dose, but that were— these were my first two medical appointments And then in June, something else happened. Please tell us what happened.
