Je le jure.
Carole Avoine · 1:24:11
Je le jure.
Myriam Bohémier · 1:24:12
Parfait.
So I figured that I would go because that would solve the issue. Because I was not anti-vax, I want to specify that. I've had all of my childhood vaccinations, so did my children. So for me, it was pretty normal to be vaccinated. However, with the information that I had, I heard that AstraZeneca had been— was the most similar vaccine to old vaccines. So that's the main reason why I chose AstraZeneca, and I, I'm one of the 400-some thousand people who received AstraZeneca in Quebec.
Carole Avoine · 1:26:13
So they opened, so they opened new time slots for AstraZeneca, and they also It reduced the age, so that's why I became eligible for it. So that's how I got my appointment for AstraZeneca, and I thought that it would be a better vaccine. So, so it's— so they made it sound like you were one of the lucky ones. Yes. And when the online platform opened up and when all the appointments were taken, there was a press conference with Minister Dubé, and he congratulated all the people who managed to get an appointment, and he said that all those who got an appointment, consider yourselves lucky. It's as if you've won the lottery. Well, today I'd like to return my prize. So following your vaccination with AstraZeneca on April 22, 2021, tell us what happened.
Carole Avoine · 1:27:17
Well, for the first 20 days, I did not really have side effects. I maybe had a light fever. And then on my daughter's birthday, and I will always remember that, I had just found a new job. I had gone to work for 2 days and then I felt some pain or pulling in my ear, and it started pulling around my mouth. And I thought it was due to stress, so I decided to go lie down, and maybe that would solve the issue, and I'd go to work the next day. But when I woke up the next morning, half of my face was paralyzed.
