So governments, and I think we need to always have that underlying discussion around censorship. We must continue to resist censorship and attempts to determine which voices of Canadians Canadians are permitted to hear, right? Government should never decide which journalists are legitimate based on whether their reporting is convenient to those in power. And just in the last couple, last day, we're talking about a registry, all right? You guys all read that stuff. Come on, give me a break, you know? Give me a break. And that's why I do want to recognize independent journalists again and media organizations who are willing to listen, ask questions, and give people an opportunity to tell their stories. You know, we're just doing some back of the napkin ideas and more, more analysis will happen in the coming days because that's how we're going to start to tell part of our story. You know, I've been looking at trying to keep track on X in terms of the posts and the new categories pop in and they pop out. And we were looking at one from 2 days ago.

Dean Allison · 8:17:09

The most I can— best I can tell, there's, there's probably been over 300,000 posts. Think about that, over 300,000 posts that has happened just in the last four days on X. That doesn't include— that's not views, that's just posts. Think about that. And that is because of people in the room. That is because of people telling their stories. That is because of people that aren't here that are telling the stories as well. And I think that's pretty impressive. We just talked about some of the numbers as well. As you look at that. And those numbers don't include Facebook, Instagram, or any kind of the streaming. We're looking at that. There's a possibility that we've got 10 to 12 million views through streaming just these few days. And then on Facebook, Instagram, and stuff like that, I can tell you from my own social media, just in the last week, we got almost 9 million views on Facebook and Instagram and X and those kinds of things. We got to keep pushing that out. We have got to be able to share, clip, post, tell people, and tell people to tell people, right?

Dean Allison · 8:18:14

That's what we got to do. We got to share this information because sometimes it's not ignorance. Once again, sometimes it's a lack of knowledge, and we are the educators in the room. It is your lived experience. It's your life experience. And do not let them take that away from you, that you should not be allowed to share It is your experience and people need to understand. And so they're not afraid. And so as we look at that and we'll do a better debrief on the numbers, as I look at that, you know, that, that, that's somewhere over 20 million views. Think about that. First press conference, maybe we had a million plus views just on Facebook. I'm not talking about streaming. I'm talking all this. I'm just— this is an awareness tool, right? But today it could be north of, north of 20 million. That's pretty good, ladies and gentlemen. It's a very, very good job. And I want to give a round of applause for the independent media in the room, guys. Yes, absolutely.
