Now you're still in, in high school when this happens, and you, you end up— obviously that's disrupted. Can you tell us how you finished high school and what that experience was like?

I actually failed my grade 12, and that was my main reason why I took the vaccine, was to just be able to join events, like school events, with my friends, go to prom with them, graduate with them. Due to like being, due to like having doctor's appointments and like just being in a lot of pain, I couldn't even go to school full days. I was going to school half days. I spent, due to missing a lot of assignments because of doctor's appointments and I couldn't be in school full days. I feel my grade 12 years, and I spent it mostly alone in the library because my classrooms were not wheelchair accessible.

So I had to learn my own courses in the library by myself. That was my last year of high school in the library. Oh my God, so—.

You did finish. I And then you went on to college.

I went to college. Um, I just finished, um, a 2-year program. I just finished a 2-year program in social service community worker because I really want to advocate for others.

But you missed a lot of days because you had appointments, and sometimes you're just in too much pain to go.

College was really hard because, like you said, I've been in a lot of pain, and then I'm very grateful. My teachers were very understanding. They allowed me to do my schoolwork at home on days where I couldn't make it, make it to school. And I— it was really hard, but I did it.
