And, um, before I introduce you to the inquiry, I'll just let the inquiry know that this witness, her doctors have conclusively found that it's vaccine injuries. Including the— back— even the Vaccine Injury Support Program agrees that she's vaccine injured. Lisa, you are 60, which means you were 55 at the time of what we're going to speak about. You've got 3 adult children. You worked for the Canada Revenue Agency, and nobody's going to hold that against you. They're just kidding. But you were in rebates, so, and you had just purchased an acreage. We did. And you were just setting up a hobby farm. You guys were in the process of getting chickens. And this is a high work thing, getting an acreage and setting up a hobby farm. Your health was good. Yes. You, you know, you worked, you walked, you'd walk about 3 to 6 kilometers 3 times a week.

Yes. You cooked for the family. You played darts. Arts, horseshoes, quadded, fished. Um, you loved going to the beach and collecting what is sea glass. And even though you've tried to explain that to me, I still don't understand what it is. Um, but that changed. Yes, it did. Um, on June 5th, 2021, you took your first and only vaccine, a Pfizer vaccine. Can you share with us what happened?

Sure. Um, oh well, we, we as a family decided we were not going to get the vaccines. Um, they were too new and, uh, we had other vaccines, but this one we didn't want to do. So, but at that time we still had our youngest daughter in high school and I wasn't able— wouldn't be able to go back to work if I didn't do it. My husband worked, uh, traveling back and forth, um, to the States and back. So for mostly for my daughter's sake, I decided to, to do this with her. And, um, So we went, and, uh, on June 5th and walked in, and she said, Mom, she said, I have a bad feeling about this. I said, possibly go wrong.

This was just a needle, right? We're fine. We went in, we got our shots, then they handed us a little piece of paper and said, if you have any issues, you may you know, flu-like symptoms. If anything gets too serious, call. We came home. My husband and I went quadding for the day. Felt fine. I didn't have a sore arm. There was nothing. 12 Days later, we— I had an appointment in Summerside, so we went in and we were sitting there a little early, so my daughter was with me. And she— we were just sitting in the truck and I was talking to my husband on the phone and, uh, I felt my left arm go weak, um, noticeably weak. And I, I said to him, he said, well, just sit, maybe it'll pass.

And I sat and, um, it wasn't passing. And, uh, I said, I think I'm having a stroke. So, um, I got out of the, the truck and, uh, walked around and let my daughter drive me to the hospital, which was just a couple minutes away. And, um, we went in and they triaged me and they brought me right in thinking I might have been having heart attack, a stroke, something. And, uh, so I, um, stayed there. They did blood work, they hooked me up to the machines. Uh, they said, I'm sorry, Mrs. Watson, but it's really busy right now. Could you just go sit back out in the the, um, waiting room, and it was, was very busy.

So I sat there, and this— oh, maybe 2 minutes passed, and, uh, this tightening around the middle came across me, that like somebody was tightening a belt. So she got up, she went and got help, and she said, I think my mother's having a heart attack, can you please help her? So I went in and, um, they took me right down to, uh, get a CT scan. And, uh, they came— I came back up and I was sitting up, I believe, and I was dry.

And I took a glass of— or not a glass, a bottle of water, and I went and I put it in my hand to open it, and when I put it in my hand, it fell and I lost use of my hand. And they They said, oh my God, she's having a stroke, even though my facial, everything was fine. Um, within probably a minute, my left leg started spasming. Not spasming, charley horsing. It was just, it was violent. The, and it would last Oh, maybe a minute and a half to 2 minutes, and then it would stop. And when that happened, the nurse, I remember she was like, that's not a stroke. We need— and the doctor came in, I believe. I— there was, there was a lot of people around me, but they didn't have an MRI machine in Summerside, so they had to take them by ambulance to Charlottetown.

Because they knew it wasn't a stroke then. They said, this isn't a stroke, we don't know what it is. So down we went, and, um, they put me in, took me in for an MRI. And I, I don't have any timelines because I was— it's all a blur, um, and it was then too. But when I came back to a room, my daughter was there. Um, my brother came in. My husband was away, and my sister-in-law. And then the neurologist finally came in, and he came in.
