Booster Triggers Necrotizing Pancreatitis and Black Bile

The third dose precipitates the catastrophic pancreatic event.

There's a lot of that going around. So, um, December 27th, 2021, you get your booster, right?

I, uh, actually didn't remember this conversation up until a friend of mine reminded me about it. He goes, do you remember you called me? Because he had his booster about a week before. And I said to him, I really don't feel well. I'm going to go back to the hospital and get checked out. And I thought maybe, you know, it says you have a reaction after the vaccine, you might feel unwell for a short period of time. So I'll just go home and see how it plays out. And that's what I did. And then all hell broke loose on December 31st. So that's when I went back into the hospital. And, uh, and, uh, I was actually rushed to the hospital because I thought I was having a heart attack. And what I didn't know was the cyst had started to erupt and explode, and I was having an acute necrotizing pancreatitis attack.

Um, no, at that time you're throwing up. What are you throwing up?

I'm throwing up— well, first you empty out your stomach, and then I was drinking a lot of fluids to try and replace the stuff that had come out. And then I started throwing up this black stuff and stomach bile. Um, it looks like something straight out of a movie. I have a picture of the nurse holding it up somewhere. It looks like a black pitcher full of nasty bile, or I don't know what to describe it as, but it doesn't look right. It looks like you're in a horror movie. Um, and, uh, you know, I just kept coming out and coming out, and I guess it was leaking through my cyst, or I'm not sure how it actually happened, but it was extremely— it freaked me out. So I was in the hospital saying, hey, look, you know, I go to the bathroom and nothing but blood would come out. And they were just, okay, we have to give you an MRI and do your blood work and go wait in the hall. We'll let you know how it goes. Right.

And you described it to me as like As if you're shot with a shotgun.

Yes, big shotgun, um, and right here where my pancreas was. And I remember on the way to the hospital, I was, um, my friend drove me and he stopped at a red light and I just looked at him and started trying to push his leg to go on the gas. And we got to go, like, I'm not going to make it if you don't hurry. And, uh, you know, when we got there, um, they were good enough to rush me right in and hook me up to an EKG because I thought it was my heart. But turns out your pancreas is over in this neighborhood too, so So, um, you know, as soon as they thought, uh, I wasn't having a heart attack, then they kind of put me on the back burner and gave me a scan, thinking maybe, you know, being New Year's Eve, I was there for another reason that was less honest.
