Can you talk to us a bit more about how it's affected your family?

Shannon Holmes · 1:26:10

Well, um, I used to cook all of the meals. I was very healthy, right? And, um, I used to make all the meals, and I had no problem doing that and doing activities with them. And, you know, even during COVID before I was injured, we were, you know, outside painting, and like, we just do whatever we could. And the biggest thing was we'd go for our walks. And when we went for our walks, there were no phones. We walked and we actually talked and we had such a deep relationship. And since losing that, my kids have to help me with pretty much everything. They have to help me clean. They have to help cook. And, you know, and even with school, I feel like I let them down all the time because I can't always be there with most of the conditions I have.
