CBC Kids, Blank Safety Claims, and Early Signals

Day 4 · 0:49:37 · Rodney Palmer · Glen Motz

  • 👧 December 2020 CBC Kids told children a scientist said vaccines showed “no significant safety concerns,” delivered with a tension music bed.
  • ⚠️ Four days earlier Health Canada had already flagged anaphylaxis monitoring; months later Ontario listed clots, cardiac injury, and deaths.
  • 🔇 CBC Kids never returned to correct the record and kept urging shots as freedom from parents’ basements.

Children’s programming is presented as misinformation timed against emerging regulatory warnings.

By December, we had a vaccine. Ridiculously lightning speed, 7 months to a vaccine, and they bypassed the parents entirely in an arm of CBC called CBC Kids, where they broadcast this on December 16th, 2020.

Speaker H · 0:49:53

So you're a vaccine researcher. How confident are you that this vaccine is safe? So the vaccine has been tested in thousands and thousands of people.

Speaker M · 0:50:05

And have shown no significant safety concerns.

Glen Motz · 0:50:09

So because it's been given to so many people and they haven't had a problem, I think that you can feel safer getting this vaccine knowing that no problems have been recognized so far.

There are 3 things interesting about that scientific— that science, uh, scientist. Number 1, she choked on her final phrase, no significant safety concerns have been found so far. Normally when somebody's doing that, they repeat themselves, they stutter, they stumble. It's because they're trying to remember a script. I picked up on it. The second thing that was horrifying to me is there's a tension track underneath that. You couldn't quite hear it on the volume we have here. It's subliminal. It's on there, right? It was also on the national news piece with Adrienne Arsenault. And when she went to interview somebody who said, I'm an expert and I, uh, I, I know how to, how to talk to your father, the music changed to— this is a Hollywood emotional manipulation. Manipulation trick to get, to, to get us to think and feel a certain way. The CBC was using this in their news items to promote fear and to promote, uh, to, to move us toward the solution that they wanted us to believe in their intentional manipulation. The most interesting thing about this on December 16th is that she said there was no safety signals.

However, four days prior, on December 12th, Health Canada had issued its first warning, its first bulletin, that it was monitoring cases of anaphylaxis. So that's not nothing, CDC kids. That's not total safety. That's not no safety concerns. That's anaphylaxis, four days prior. And that scientist was giving misinformation to the children. Only four months after that, so 16 weeks later, Public Health Ontario published that there were 20 reports of blood clots, 7 reports of acute cardiovascular injury. That sounds pretty severe to me. Acute kidney injuries, skin lesions, acute respiratory distress. Respiratory distress means you can't breathe. And 7 reports of death in Ontario alone. Did CBC Kids go back on and say, listen kids, the story has changed, it's emerging, we have new information? No, they continued to say, go get the vaccine, it'll release you from the confines of your parents' basement.
