Shawn Buckley · 6:38:56
Thank you, Crystal. Um, so just, um, maybe already referred to it, but employment— are you working now? Financial situation, maybe about the cost. And, uh, is this, is this self-care, uh, is it, is it all-consuming at this point? Are you able to— you have supports and new goals of vision? How, you know, just just where you're at.
Crystal Denomme · 6:39:21
I'm—.
Shawn Buckley · 6:39:21
I cannot work.
Crystal Denomme · 6:39:23
I've always had very physical jobs and, and things. I can't maintain the schedule. I average about 4 hours a night of sleep, so I, I'm brain foggy. I can't— I'm not employable, they've said. I have CPP disability and long-term And that's my income. I'm trapped at 66.6% of what I was making in 2021.
Shawn Buckley · 6:39:54
So, uh, so it's like life has been sucked out of you anyways.
Crystal Denomme · 6:39:59
Yeah, it's every day, every day it's just to struggle to get through the day in a survival mode. And you're constantly told, oh, it's going to flare more if you don't reduce your stress and yada yada. How, how, where do you want me to reduce my stress? In between appointments? Like, for a while I had physio, I had— they gave me a psychologist, I had psychology, I had plus my other appointments, plus running around to, to get forms filled out and dropped off at Service Canada and this, that, and the other thing. It, it's been a bombardment of garbage from every side, and they don't even give you 5 minutes to be treated like a human being through all of this. Like they have, between the physicians and the Vaccine Injury Support Program, they've taken the most difficult time in my life and made it just unbelievably worse. Like the lack of compassion or even just civility, you know, just be human for 5 minutes.
Crystal Denomme · 6:41:06
Like, and put yourself in somebody else's shoes. Who I went from— it's, it's, it's just a definite before and after. It's— and nothing's the same. And then, as for your question of is there any prospects, we're not at this point. No, it's bleak. It's a very bleak feeling.
