Right.
Dean Allison · 2:42:20
Um, you also had bilateral Achilles tendinopathy.
Patricia Leidl · 2:42:26
Yes, I've continued to deal with that. It is improving. I've spent a fortune on physiotherapy, prolotherapy, uh, something called PRP, hyaluronic acid injections, lumbar injections, spinal injections. I work with a pain clinic in Vancouver that has been very helpful, and I'm probably— I'm more mobile than I was, you know, the last time I testified. So that is something, you know, that, that— but it's cost me— I figure I've spent about $250,000 trying to get well, right?
Dean Allison · 2:43:01
Um, and you spoke about brain fog. Can you describe that to us?
Patricia Leidl · 2:43:07
Yes. The, the migraine that I mentioned earlier lasted for about a year. And what I also failed to mention was that I lost my hearing on my right side. So all of this occurred all at once. So I woke up that morning, I was deaf, I couldn't walk. I'm, you know, there's such a constellation of symptoms that I actually forget what happened. But, you know, exhibit A, my hearing aid. I'm almost completely deaf in the right ear. And along with the hearing loss has come tinnitus and brain fog. So my memory is very faulty. I used to have a very good memory. I think my friends could probably testify that I was, you know, quite, you know, I was quite smart and Over the last 5 years, I have noticed a real deterioration in my cognitive function.
