Dean Allison · 2:27:30

And where do we go from here?

Carole Avoine · 2:27:35

That's a really great question. And I, I think we need to start having some very real, raw, authentic conversations about what public protection really is and what it's not. And I think we need— people need to be held accountable for the choices that they made that harmed people disproportionately to any kind of protection that could have been gained. And I think that needs to happen now. It was always a good time, but I mean, now and every day moving forward, because we can't change the past. And I would be more than happy and willing to have conversations with administrators, with regulators, with anyone, but they will not have the conversation. So how— I, I don't know the process of, of Parliament, and I'm a doctor.

Carole Avoine · 2:28:39

I love being a doctor. I want to get back to my patients.

Speaker D · 2:28:42

That would be awesome.

Carole Avoine · 2:28:44

Some, but I don't know all of the red tape and all the hoops, and I don't, I don't play games, right? I just, I'm real, and real life is very different than administration of medicine and using health crises as ways to remove the rights of individual people. That can't happen. Individual people look around and hear the stories. They're sensible. Scott was sensible. I'm sensible. And we can have different views and opinions and perspectives, and they can all be true, and nobody's harmed. We have to stop harming. We have to stop the harm now.

Blaine Calkins · 2:29:34

So, Crystal, And then move forward. I don't want to have to tell a, a witness that's ill and that's traveled far and that's going to be suffering, they can't testify today. So if you could keep your answer short, because I know the MPs need to interact with you, they need some healing.

Carole Avoine · 2:29:47

Sorry.

Dean Allison · 2:29:51

Thanks, Michael. Well, a final comment for Mr. Berson.
