Mr. Dawson and Mr. Pearson, thanks for being here to tell Scott's story. But how has it affected you in your profession, going through the process of how things played out, knowing what you know?
Carole Avoine · 2:25:41
So I'm a lot like my brother, and I'm fierce and soft and tender, um, but I'm not willing to stray from my moral compass. And Deanna mentioned that there was a, a legal change, um, and patients weren't aware. Well, guess what? Physicians weren't actually aware either. I I have never, um, been informed that I had to switch my care from the patient in front of me to the collective, and I wouldn't have— I would not do that, um, because that's not a physician's duty. So I, um, wouldn't participate in harm, and I had some confrontations and objections with my College of Physicians and Surgeons, and it— and that started in 2020, well, 2021, and my license was restricted.

I couldn't write vaccine exemptions. And then it was suspended 2 weeks later without even finding out if I followed that. And it's been suspended ever since because I've been trying to so-called fight legally this administrative giant, and I've gotten nowhere with lawyers, without lawyers. And I'm still suspended.

How do we— how do we stop this?
