Systemic dismissal destroyed trust more than the injury itself.

What was the hardest part of all this for you? The fact that I am not listened to. I'm not believed. The medical system and its representatives aren't helping me. Uh, the government is also not helping. They were the first to say that they would be there to help, and today we realize that that's not the case. The medical system, the healthcare system has failed me. I haven't been to the hospital for over a year, and I ha— I know I have other health issues, but I don't want to go to the hospital. I don't trust the healthcare system. Last time I went, I brought a friend with me because if I'm unaccompanied people make fun of me. They, they, they don't take me seriously. I had an appointment with a neurologist after my side effects, uh, increased and my cranial nerves were affected.

That was something that I was not suffering from before the vaccine, like multiple cranial nerves couldn't be affected at the same time. That was never seen before. So doctors must have known that because today they don't want to make me do any tests. Bell's palsy makes your face kind of, um, it's paralyzed. And so now people, when I get shots or if I, I get needles, I don't even feel them. So if I don't have pain, that means one nerve is affected. If I have another symptom, that means another nerve is affected. But I can't know for sure because last time I tried to see my neurologist to get explanations as to why my symptoms had increased and worsened, I was referred to his intern. And my neurologist came to see me, but he had one foot in the door and one foot outside.

So his body language was telling, and he left me alone with his intern. One last thing: when I have to go in for tests, tests that have been prescribed, they don't give me the right tests. I've had tumors and they tested my thyroid. I had an X-ray on my neck And when I saw the screen, I saw that on my file it was written that I was getting my thyroid screened. So that, that's kind of what happens every time I go in for tests.
