Quebec Vaccine-Injury Compensation: Three-Year Silence

Day 3 · 1:42:04 · Carole Avoine

  • 📝 A doctor later confirmed vaccine causality to Bell’s palsy after she self-reported on AstraZeneca’s site.
  • ⚖️ Represented by CGL lawyers, she has waited three years with zero program updates.
  • 🙏 She credits the integrity doctor she met at Quebec’s Citizens National Commission for finally documenting her case.

Acknowledged injury still yields no compensation.

In Quebec, we have a compensation program for vaccine injury victims, and so you try to get access to this program. Your Doctor acknowledged that there is a causality between Bell's palsy and the vaccine that you received. And so when did you try and, and subscribe to this program? Well, I needed a doctor's note to be able to subscribe to it. What I did was go on AstraZeneca's website. I signaled my— the effects that the vaccine had on me. And I don't know if the doctor then filled out the note. They never wanted to take my vaccine proof into account. It wasn't in my file.

Then 2 years later, I testified at the Citizens National Commission in Quebec, and that's where I met my doctor who was willing to help me, a doctor that has a high level of integrity and does excellent work. And I really thank him from the bottom of my heart. And he, um, confirmed my side effects 2 years later. So have you received compensation? I am represented by lawyers, uh, CGL in Quebec. I've been waiting for 3 years and I still haven't had any updates. You told me two very important things, and there's one thing that you haven't told me personally, but you talked about it on your Facebook page, and I thought it was important to mention it today.
