Had you been like an activist in, in anything else? Like, like, were you just, uh, like a, uh, a troublemaker on— in the medical field and bringing up these sort of things? Or is this— was this kind of new.

No, no, no. I have, you know, I remember when I moved to Lytton, because Lytton's a very insignificant little place, you know. It's a, yeah, I mean, any town that only has one doctor is not a big place. Um, so I remember when I first moved there, my father came there in 1994 and said, what on earth are you doing here? He said to me, you are stuck in the back eddy, you will never make a name for yourself. 'In this place.' And I said, 'I'm not trying to make a name for myself. I'm just a country doctor serving some wonderful people.' And so, you know, I've— no, I've never been an activist in anything. I've never put anything on social media because I've never wanted to be a public figure in any way. I just wanted to humbly do my job and serve my patients. That's all I wanted to do.
