CANRISE Data: VISP Rejection Rates and Under-Reporting¶
Day 2 · 0:46:43 · Dean Allison · Dr. Michelle Worton · Shawn Buckley · Vienna Demeduk
- 📊 Among members, 46% could not apply because doctors refused to sign forms; ~7% of applicants are approved.
- ⏳ Worton’s own claim was rejected despite confirmed injury; appeal has dragged nearly two years with mail-only filings.
- 📝 Her AEFI was never filed by any doctor; panel experts accepted timing yet blamed age or surgery instead of the vaccine.
Organizational statistics expose program failure.

I think we should show up the other slide, you know, just talking with some of the stats that you guys have from, from CAN19. Someone was asking about— can you just go through that slide for us in terms of the data that you're receiving from your organizations, from the individuals. How many people are a part of that organization again?
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:47:01
So we have 2,000 members that access our resources. We have roughly 300 registered members.
Shawn Buckley · 0:47:06
Okay. And so this is some stats from you.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:47:09
So our data points are from our members who we send surveys to.
Dean Allison · 0:47:12
Okay.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:47:12
And so this was, this was submitted in part for us to be able to provide not only this, but the Public Health Agency of Canada with data points. To reflect the inefficiencies of this. And so for our members in particular, as you can see above, you know, 46% of our members had no idea that the— I'm sorry, couldn't apply because they couldn't get doctors to sign their application forms. Can you imagine that? So when we're looking at stats from the federal government, 58,000 injured, 11,000 serious, Roughly 4,000 tried to apply. So think about that for a second. Yeah, that could be 8,000 people that didn't apply or couldn't apply, right? 24 Were ineligible because they couldn't get medical support in time in the 3-year time frame. Roughly 30% not even aware that the program existed. And of the applicants, one of which is myself, again, you can see roughly 7% approved.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:48:16
7%.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:48:16
93% Rejection rate in a program that was supposed to help serve Canadians that were injured. Make that make sense. Oh, 43% rejected, 50% remain in the process. 5 Years we've been waiting. We don't have 5 years. Like, we can't wait another 5 years for a program that is not working. And when I listen to you engage in the House of Commons and Maggie Chee, is that correct? Responded with, you know, that we've developed a program, we've transferred it to the Public Health Agency of Canada. It's not working. It's no different. It's an illusion of a federal program just to save face. We know, injured behind me know it's not working. And you know what the cost is? My life.
Dean Allison · 0:49:10
I, I, I just have one more comment before I turn. Like, this, this is why these testimonies are so important. I know you're reliving, and that, that's brutal, but the reality is, is we see numbers like 60,000. We know that's a lie.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:49:22
It is a lie, right?
Dean Allison · 0:49:23
Because people don't actually get a report. Dr. Pop talked about that. He said, like, I can't even get— I get— I get— can't get things. And, and he's one of the good guys. Like he's one of the guys who wants to help.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:49:33
Do you know that my AEFI has never been reported by a doctor?
Shawn Buckley · 0:49:36
Yeah, yeah.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:49:38
I've asked doctors to report it.
Shawn Buckley · 0:49:39
They've never reported it.
Speaker C · 0:49:41
Yeah.
Dean Allison · 0:49:42
So we know the stats are tremendously under— under— and the program is woefully underfunded. And even if you were able to get access, chances are you're going to get stuck in this, this, this revolving loop that never ends.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:49:53
Well, something to highlight for myself is that 2 of the 3 medical panel experts agreed that there was a temporal relationship between my injection timeline and onset of symptoms. They didn't feel like my conditions are from the vaccine. They blamed it on age. They tried to blame it on my brain surgery, even though the symptoms started within 48 hours. Like, you name it, they've tried to blame it on anything but the vaccine. But the problem is, and Senator Ron Johnson spoke to that specifically yesterday, If these conditions are not reported in the clinical trial, there's no causation. So we're doomed. Pfizer didn't disclose the safety signals. Post-marketing, it's not disclosed. So we have globally individuals showing up with these symptoms and these conditions. And again, our data is showing—.
Shawn Buckley · 0:50:44
Michelle, I'm sorry. Yeah, no one—.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:50:47
Conditions are common, more common than you'd think.
Shawn Buckley · 0:50:50
It's just we don't want to have to say to a witness at the end of the day. They don't have time. Okay, just, um, I know it's been— it's going to be physically punishing on you to be here, but we're really, really thankful you came and shared with us. This is super important.
Vienna Demeduk · 0:51:05
Thank you.
Dr. Michelle Worton · 0:51:06
Thank you for having me.
