Can you, you describe that, and, and also describe for us how your store was ranked out of 400 in Canada?

Kevin Street · 6:04:57

Yeah, so I was, uh, I've been a salesman all my life and, and finally got to a place in my, in my, you know, in my career where I could start mentoring others and really kind of bringing it to the next level of, of how to win, being successful in business in today's game. And obviously with the cell phone business, it's an ever-changing, everyday challenge for everyone, let alone the people that are trying to come up with the programs to, to entice people to, to purchase. And, you know, that was very, very labor-intensive. I often worked 14-hour days and often looked forward to when that 14th hour ended and I got home to my family. And, you know, I was finally— we were at a place in our life where both myself and my wife where, you know, in, in roles where we kind of work towards our whole careers to become.

Kevin Street · 6:06:02

And I had the opportunity to live it for, you know, 3 or 4 years of, of being a successful store. My store was ranked number 2 in Canada out of, uh, over 400 stores. And I come from an extremely small town of a population of about 13,000 people, and we were taking on big stores stores like, like the East Edmonton Mall and those types of— and of course the big ones around Ottawa as well. And you know, I was always a very positive person and always tried to find a way to make it happen. And 1951 days ago, I started my life over, took a shot, and I've never been back to work since.

Shawn Buckley · 6:06:49

So So can I— before you go on, can you describe for us what your health was like before you took the shot?

Kevin Street · 6:06:56

Yeah, I was a crazy guy. I enjoyed life. I'd like to play a lot of sports, like to fish, like to, you know, get out in the wilderness, and of course carry my kids around wherever they needed to go. So I mean, my health was great. I, I broke my neck a few years back before this accident happened, but I mean, it was done just through through malicious games of playing hockey throughout my life and my neck wore out. So, you know, it let go. But after I got that fixed, I went back to work and, and really dug in. And that was when we really kind of kicked it up a level and realized that it was time to start making a future for, for our family and, and in a position where we could.
