If you don't want to live in anarchy and chaos, you need government, but it needs to be limited because because government's not capable of fixing our problems. From my standpoint, our founders realized this. Government's something to fear because as government grows, our freedoms recede. And if there's a one-word definition of government, it's power. Government can impose the capital punishment, right? There's no greater power than— So the government is Power. And as British Lord Acton appropriately said one time is, you know, power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And I've witnessed now, again, coming into government 'cause we were mortgaging our kids' future, I knew Obamacare wouldn't work. That's the reason I ran in 2010 as part of the Tea Party movement. But I came with a goal of how do you limit the size, scope, and cost of government?

Government so we can retain our freedom. And if, if COVID taught us one thing, is you give government officials power, they're going to just want more. And that's what we witnessed. So, um, I'm not sure that really necessarily answers your question, but that's kind of my, my philosophy on things. I, I think the solution here isn't, isn't fixing government. It's not, you know, making it bigger. The, the solution, little is limit the powers. As I said earlier, what, what could have been if federal officials globally would have allowed doctors to be doctors and practice medicine and utilize the tools we had, the, the cheap generic drugs, the internet disseminate information? I think we would have been— again, I remember, uh, Pierre Corey coming in just early December with a manuscript. He had all these studies of the effectiveness of ivermectin. He said, pandemic's over, just get me on that stand and, you know, get me in front of NIH, I'll deliver that manuscript.
